Jewellery is an area of the fashion world that I need to explore more thoroughly. I have a few pieces that I wear regularly but I would like to build a proper capsule collection and I think the above pieces look like they would make the perfect 'jewellery wardrobe'!
1. Chunky rose gold chain necklace, Amanda Wakeley
The chain necklace trend is everywhere and this Amanda Wakeley piece is the most beautiful take on the trend I've seen so far. Unfortunately it comes with a hefty price tag. I found this piece via a photo on Freddy My Love's Instagram page - she paired it with a beautiful cashmere jumper from the same brand and I haven't been able to get that combination out of my head since.
2. Riva mini kite stacking ring, Monica Vinader
Monica Vinader's Riva collection brings diamonds into the everyday, with much more accessible prices than many of their products. I love the quirky shapes in this collection, such as the kite shape of this ring.
3. Siren wire earrings, Monica Vinader
These Kate Middleton-approved earrings would work for so many occasions. They are dressy yet at the same time could be worn to everyday events or even to the office. Adding a pair of drop earrings is one of my favourite ways to glam up an otherwise casual look.
The unusual shape of these hoops, with the pearl being 'carried' in the middle, give a modern twist to the classic pearl. These sterling silver earrings would look fabulous with an all-black outfit.
5. Twist pearl stud earrings, Aspinal of London
A statement pair of pearl studs make for such a classic look. These Aspinal of London earrings would elevate any outfit. They're very 'old money' (for lack of a better term) and remind me of something you would see royalty wearing.
6. Gold-plated t-bar link chain necklace, Accessorize
Rather than splashing the cash straight away on the beautiful Amanda Wakeley necklace, I've looked to the high street so that I can try out the chain jewellery trend. Accessorize do very pretty, delicate jewellery at a reasonable price and I have often wished lately that I had a yellow gold chain necklace to finish off my outfits, so this affordable piece is one I'd like to pick up soon.
7. Linear bead friendship chain bracelet, Monica Vinader
I love the Monica Vinader friendship bracelets and this rose gold one is by far my favourite. I love that you can get them engraved. I'd like to wait for a special occasion to buy this piece and then engrave that special date on it, so it will make me smile every time I wear it.
8. Mini heart tag earrings, Tiffany & Co
So simple, so classic and so beautiful, these heart-shaped Tiffany studs were a very close contender for my wedding earrings. They would go with absolutely any outfit and would work for any occasion, plus you get the added 'I'm wearing Tiffany!' thrill.
9. Circle of sparkle necklace, Pandora
A few variations of this necklace have appeared in the shops and I've been meaning to pick one up for a long time now. It's a lovely everyday piece that would compliment most outfits and would work well for the office.
10. Princess tiara crown ring, Pandora
An oldie but a goodie, the Pandora princess ring in rose gold is unashamedly sweet and romantic and that's why I love it! Sometimes we just need to add things to our collection that just make us smile. This is a piece that would also make a really lovely gift for a friend.
