A Tiffany & Co Day in London

You may be aware of the Vision and Virtuosity exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London, showcasing all things Tiffany & Co. It's free to enter, you just have to reserve a timeslot, so my friend Milly and I headed there and decided to make a Tiffany's themed day of it!

The exhibition houses some absolutely stunning pieces of jewellery, the full brilliance of which it's impossible to show on camera. However I did my best for you and you can certainly get an idea of how extravagant some of the pieces were.

You are actually able to try on a Tiffany & Co engagement ring, though you have to queue for a while to do so. This is the first ever design, made in 1886. It fit perfectly and look how good it looks next to my wedding band! I already have my perfect engagement ring but wouldn't say no to an eternity ring from Tiffany & Co... hoping my husband reads this...

The highlight of the exhibition is the Breakfast at Tiffany's section, housing not only Audrey Hepburn's iconic dress from the opening scene of the film but also her script complete with her handwritten annotations. Unreal!

Afterwards, we took a black cab to Harrods and went for afternoon tea at their Tiffany & Co Blue Box Cafe on the lower ground floor. We ate off of Tiffany & Co china and enjoyed an array of tasty sandwiches and cakes, of course complete with scones and clotted cream.

Do you do jam first or cream first?

We had a look around Harrods afterwards and Milly treated herself to a special treat from Dior! I wanted to wear a blue dress to honour the occasion but sadly it didn't arrive in time so I wore my new hot pink asymmetric top from Karen Millen with my trusty white & Other Stories skirt. I tried on these Dior sunglasses in Harrods since they went so well with my outfit!

We had such a wonderful day and I've been so lucky to meet so many lovely ladies from Instagram. Can't wait for the next trip!
