My Premium High Street Wishlist (Autumn Edition)

I am so, so inspired by the Autumn pieces coming on to the high street now and worryingly for my bank balance, the premium high street is the place that's really delivering this season. Read on to see the cosy knits and preppy checks I'm hoping to add to my wardrobe before long.

These Joules Chelsea boots are practical and pretty with the strip of leopard print that gives them a more youthful edge. I'd wear with opaque tights and a burgundy jumper dress but also with jeans and an oversized jumper. A Chelsea boot never goes out of style and can be worn a number of ways.

Two cardigans from & Other Stories have caught my eye, both of which have the cutest buttons. This camel cardigan with dinosaur buttons is such a beautiful colour - I love camel in the colder seasons. Look at those teeny T-rexes! And then we have the black bumblebee version which is just so versatile. On both cardigans, the buttons add a bit of interest to a simple elegant piece, which is just my favourite thing ever.

Then we've got two coordinating pieces from a brand that's a new discovery of mine, Palones. They have cemented themselves in my mind as the perfect trouser brand - their selection of high-waisted, wide-legged trousers are very much to my liking. As I said, I love classic items with a twist, something to add a bit of pizazz without taking it to OTT levels, and the checked Kimmi trousers definitely tick that box.

I've also fallen in love with the matching Kimmi trenchcoat, a truly spectacular piece for Autumn. I mean, look at it! Did you ever see anything more wonderful?

Finally, you can't beat a cosy rollneck jumper in the colder months and I've got my eye on several. In particular I'm drawn to the heritage knit jumper from Holland Cooper Clothing, in camel check (well, really I want it in every colour, but you have to draw the line somewhere). I'm definitely into plaids and checks this year and I am loving it!
