Posing for outfit pictures is always fun but never do I enjoy it more than when I have a multitude of floral backgrounds to choose from! Throw in a day of gorgeous weather and I’m sold. The only thing missing was a picnic (although I did take my basket)!
We spent one of the hottest days of the year at Naturescape Wildflower Farm, a hidden Nottinghamshire gem which contains a host of floral meadows to skip through. (Well, I don’t think you’re really meant to walk through them but you do you.)
I wore a white H&M dress and a straw hat for what I knew would be a scorching hot day. I’m so glad I added the hat - I just know I would’ve had a terrible headache by the end of the walk if not! I wore a pair of Valentino-inspired sandals from Daniel Footwear and also took my favourite Dune slip-ons for comfort - both pairs of shoes looked great with the dress.
The route we took was an easy one with a nice flat path so I had no concerns about getting my dress dirty - until I got home, that is, and the dog decided to jump up at me with muddy paws! (We didn't take her with us because it was simply too hot for little sausage dogs.)
My personal photographer, AKA my long-suffering boyfriend, took advantage of the gorgeous flowers to get some truly beautiful shots. I’ll be sharing more of the pictures on my Instagram over the next few weeks, so be sure to follow me on there!
